Lote Tuqiri's National Rugby League season and possibly West Tigers career is over after he suffered a broken arm in his side's 32-20 loss to the Canterbury Bulldogs Friday night.
The 32-year-old former Australian dual international is yet to be offered an extension to his existing contract, which expires at the end of the 2012 season.
Tuqiri was a victim of friendly fire when team-mate Adam Blair, a Kiwis international prop, came in from the side and crunched his arm as the veteran winger clung onto Bulldogs back-rower Dene Halatau.
