It was third time lucky for Taranaki sharemilkers, Greg and Hannah Topless, who have won the region's sharemilker of the year title.
They succeeded in their sixth and last season of share-milking, as they have just bought their first farm.
Stratford contract milker Marc Jackson is the Taranaki farm manager of the year.
The Dairy Trainee title went to Dougan Butler, 20, an Inglewood farm assistant.
They will compete in the national dairy awards final at Rotorua in May.
