Voters have 10 days left to make sure they are enrolled to vote in the asset sales referendum.
The Electoral Commission says people need to be on the roll by 21 November to have their say on the question of whether they support the Government's partial asset sales programme.
Chief electoral officer Robert Peden says it's a postal vote, so addresses on the electoral roll need to be correct.
He says the people who most need to check their enrolment details are those who have recently moved house or have just turned 18.
The postal referendum will be run from 22 November to 13 December.
