A logging truck overturned on State Highway 29 at Tauriko, near Tauranga, on Tuesday, blocking the road.
The truck crashed just before 9am. The driver had minor injuries.
The AA says traffic is building up on SH 29. Motorists are advised to use the detour at Cambridge Road and Porepore Road towards SH2.
