Waikato police hunt pair over mobile P-lab

5:55 pm on 26 July 2010

Police in Waikato are looking for two people they say are connected to a mobile methamphetamine laboratory discovered in Cambridge earlier this month.

They say a silver BMW was stopped in the town and numerous items associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine were found inside.

They say driver of the car, Danielle Hughes, 23, was arrested at the scene, but her passenger, Sheldon Weir, 35, fled.

Police say Ms Hughes has breached her bail and is believed to be actively avoiding police with Mr Weir. The couple are believed to be living in the Huntly-Ngaruawahia area.
