The Fire Service in Hamilton is investigating a blaze at Inghams factory on Bisley Road.
It says initial indications suggest a grinding maching caught on fire. The fire was confined to machinery, but there was significant damage.
The Fire Service says it was alerted shortly before 8am on Tuesday: 35 fire fighters took more than an hour to put the fire out.
