A man has appeared in the Waitakere District Court today, in connection with the firing of shots at police officers yesterday.
The shots were fired by a fleeing driver being pursued by the police all the way from Auckland's Southern Motorway to Rodney.
The 22-year-old man was remanded in custody until Tuesday.
