A paraglider has been seriously injured after crashing on a beach in South Auckland.

The man crashed on Karioitahi Beach, Counties Manukau Police Sergeant Ben Ostler said.
Police are in attendance.
"A male is in a serious condition and Westpac Rescue Helicopter will transport him to hospital.
"There is limited mobile coverage in the area so no further details are available at this stage," he said.
