A man has fallen to his death from a roof at a South Auckland hospital where he was carrying out repairs.
Counties Manukau District Health Board spokesperson Lauren Young said the engineer fell from the top of the Galbraith building at Middlemore Hospital late last night.
She said he was a valued, long-term staff member at the hospital and his death has now been referred to the coroner.
