A jury has been chosen in the High Court at Wellington to hear a defamation case taken by Sir Robert Jones against Kapiti Coast investment adviser Chris Lee.
Justice Clifford told the jury the matter at issue involved the company Robert Jones Investments Limited.
The company changed its name to Trans Tasman Properties, was taken over and subsequently delisted from the stock exchange in 2007.
The court has not yet heard details of the alleged defamation, but Sir Robert will give evidence along with three other witnesses on his behalf.
Mr Lee and another man will give defence evidence.
The court is now discussing legal matters and jurors have been asked to return to court on Tuesday, when the trial will commence.
