Motorists in Wellington are being advised to expect more drink-drive blitzes in the lead-up to Christmas and New Year.
An operation on State Highway 1 at Tawa on Friday night saw 2200 vehicles stopped and drivers breath-tested.
Fifteen people now face drink-driving charges.
