Police are seeking three men they say were involved in an assault on an elderly man in Lower Hutt.
Police say the men smashed several windows at a house in Bush Street in Naenae on Sunday morning.
They say the men attacked a 70-year-old who came out to confront them. He suffered a fractured collar bone and needed stitches to a head wound.
The assailants are described as Pacific Islanders wearing dark clothing, who left in a dark-coloured four-wheel drive.
