Police in Auckland have charged a man with assault after a fatal stabbing at Half Moon Bay.
A man was found dead in his home there late on Friday.
The accused was found in a car that had crashed in nearby Pakuranga. He was bleeding from stab wounds.
He is due to appear in Manukau District Court on Tuesday, charged with assault.
