Former Silver Ferns coach Ruth Aitken is to become the national netball coach of Singapore next August.
The current Netball New Zealand coaching director and Northern Mystics coach will take up the position of technical director and coach for Singapore after the conclusion of the 2013 ANZ Championship season.
She was coach of the Silver Ferns from 2001 - 2011.
Singapore is ranked 18th in the world since winning the 2012 Asian championships.
