The Lotto draw on Saturday raised more than $8.2 million for Christchurch earthquake relief funds.
Half the proceeds from all tickets sold in the special draw was being put towards the earthquake appeal.
1.8 million tickets were sold.
The Powerball jackpot of $17 million was not struck, but a ticket sold in Christchurch won a $200,000 share of the first division prize.
