Pike River Coal shares will be delisted from the NZX at the close of market on Friday 24 February.
Receivers have told the NZX that the prospect of any return to shareholders is uncertain and they do not expect Pike River Coal to recommence trading during the receivership.
NZX Market Supervision says it accepts the receiver's submission that there is no benefit in the shares remaining quoted.
It says there is no detriment in the shares ceasing quotation and Pike River being delisted.
