The board of the Reserve Bank of Australia meets on Tuesday, but no rate change is expected.
The official cash rate is 4.75%, after being raised from 4.5% on 2 November, 2010.
The RBA said in September that the board judged that it was prudent to maintain the current stance of monetary policy.
