Wellington Drive Technologies has signed a distribution deal with one of the largest manufacturers of electric motors in the United States.
A.O. Smith will sell the company's new range of energy-efficient motors throughout the US under a co-branding agreement.
WDT chief executive Dr Ross Green, says customer reaction to the new range of energy saving refridgeration motors has been very encourging.
Shares in Wellington Drive gained 2 cents, or 25%, on Monday, to 10 cents.
