Speciality milk producer, A2 Corporation's annual profit has fallen, largely due to tax payments, but its sales have risen dramatically following strong growth in Australia.
The company's annual net profit fell 6.5% to $4.1 million in the 12 months to the end of June, but pre-tax profit rose a quarter to $5.1 million.
A2 chief executive Geoffrey Babidge says it was a very strong year and the company is poised to enter the Chinese market.
