Tuna has been likened to bars of gold for developing island nations in the Pacific.

But illegal and overfishing is robbing nations of billions of dollars a year and without action, stocks of many species could collapse.

Insight spends a week over the Pacific with a New Zealand surveillance team harnessing technology, tip-offs and local co-operation as they try to halt the rising problem.
