Michael Malmo runs the overnight yards for cows travelling between the North and South Island. Since Christmas he's milked 2000 cows that have headed south.

Regional Conditions

There will be serious implications because of a winter drought from Waikato to Wellington and in the South Island its time to slip on the thermals.
