Fiji's Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama has described becoming an elected leader who has to face an opposition in parliament as no big deal.
He swept to victory last week with 32 seats in the 50 member parliament and is poised for its first sitting after the installation of his cabinet at a ceremony in Suva yesterday.
He'd said earlier he intended to clean up all fifty seats.
Rear Admiral Bainimarama was asked whether he was ready to face the opposition.
"Me? Is the opposition ready for me? We're going to go in and talk about moving Fiji forward, with regards to our economy, bringing in investors, are they ready for that? We're going to build on our infrastructure ... all it takes is a lot of discipline, but there's really no big deal. You're going to meet up with the same group of liars I met during the campaign trail."
