Eleven dead following landslides in West Papua

Heavy rain, floods and landslides in the Papuan capital of Jayapura over the weekend have left at least 11 people dead.

The Jakarta Post reports two people are missing and several injured.

Indonesia's National Disaster Mitigation Agency says the landslides occurred in three separate districts in the province and more than fifty houses were damaged.

The agency along with the military, a search and rescue team and volunteers have been helping victims to evacuate the area
