Fiji police say they hope to release more information at the end of the week on their investigation into the videotaped brutal beating of two men.
The nine-minute recording released on the internet earlier this month shows a group of men abusing two others which police suspect to be recaptured prisoners.
The beatings sparked calls for an independent investigation.
The video clearly shows the licence plate of a pick-up truck, on which one of the tied-up men was beaten and stripped.
A police spokesman, Atunaisa Sokomuri, refused further comment because police are still conducting thorough investigations.
The website Fijilive reports the police have no new leads in the investigation.
