Solomon Islands coach Jacob Moli says it's vital his team gets off to a winning start in the latest round of Oceania World Cup football qualifiers on Friday.
Just four teams remain in contention to play the fourth place team from Central America, with Tahiti, New Caledonia, New Zealand and Solomon Islands advancing from June's Oceania Nations Cup.
In the first round of matches, Solomon Islands will host Tahiti at Lawson Tama Stadium and New Caledonia take on the All Whites in Noumea.
Bonitos coach Jacob Moli says with three away matches still to play it's crucial they take maximum points at home, although he admits it won't be easy against the Nations Cup winners.
"Tahiti is the champion team and they are confident of themselves but in football anything is possible. Since we are the four best teams it depends very much on the day - if you turn up in the right frame of mind and ask them to play you could come up with a result."
Following the Tahiti game, the Bonitos will travel to New Zealand for their next match on Tuesday.
