Climate change will be among major issues that will be debated next week in Port Vila by African, Caribbean and Pacific countries with the European Union.
The meeting is due to open on Monday.
Vanuatu's ambassador in Brussels, Roy Mickey Joy, made the announcement after the official opening of the newly built Vanuatu international conference room.
Mr Joy said one of the main issues to be discussed during the 95th session of the council of ACP/EU ministers is the programming of the 11th European Development Fund or EDF financing from the EU.
He said that the 11th EDF financing was announced at total of 34 billion euros by EU President Manuel Barroso last year in Brussels.
Mr Joy said that it is the responsibility of the both councils of ministers from ACP and EU to decide on the allocations of the fund.
The meeting will also deliberate on the ongoing issues of the Economic Partnership Agreements, EPA, negotiations between ACP and EU.
Mr Joy said that most of ACP states have not concluded successfully the EPA negotiation with the EU, and it is the interest of this meeting to ensure that the ACP states are step up to conclude the negotiation.
He said the ACP states have to reach an agreement with EU by the end of this year.
Over 500 delegates will attend this meeting in Port Vila.
