Fiji rugby boss says the buck stops with him after Flying Fijians bow out of World Cup

The chair of the Fiji Rugby Union, Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga, says he takes full responsibility for the Flying Fijians' poor performance at the Rugby World Cup.

Fiji bowed out of the tournament in New Zealand on Sunday after going down 66 nil to Wales.

FBC news reports Colonel Tikoitoga saying the buck stops with the board which now has to make some tough decisions.

Tikoitoga says even though the Flying Fijians broke the hearts of many, they are still the national side and he called on the general public to continue to support them.

An FRU board meeting on Thursday will decide what action it might take after receiving the coach's report.
