The late Tui Vuda and former President of Fiji, Ratu Josefa Iloilo, is now lying in state at Government House.
A funeral cortege, led by the Fiji Military Forces, left the Suva Private hospital this morning followed by the interim Prime Minister and other members of the military council.
The Fiji Village website reports that students lined the streets from the hospital through to Government House.
Members of cabinet are expected to present their last respects to the late Tui Vuda today.
Ratu Josefa will be laid to rest on Thursday.
