A 68 year old church minister in Samoa is to face once charge of common assault, but another of indecent assault has been dropped due to insufficient evidence.
The defendant and his family have already left the parish he had served for many years following a police investigation into the incident.
The police allege the 68 year old took the complainant in a car to the outskirts of a village where the assault is said to have occurred.
The assault charge will be called next month .
