A year after dropping direct flights to Saipan, Continental Airlines now says it is resuming business with double-daily flights from Japan.
The managing director of Continental Airlines, Charles Duncan, made the announcement in a general membership meeting of the Marianas Visitors Authority.
Mr Duncan, who spoke about the challenges and opportunities in the Japan market, says the double-daily flights will begin on July the 18th.
He says the Boeing 737 aircraft to be used are currently stationed in Guam and will be transferred to the CNMI throughout the top travel period.
