The police in Samoa are investigating the cause of death of four people who were killed in separate alcohol related incidents during the Christmas holidays.
Three were killed in Upolu and one on Savaii islands and police say they have arrested and charged four suspects with manslaughter.
They are in police custody awaiting their first court appearance next month.
Meanwhile no car accidents were reported as of Christmas day and traffic police have used breathalyzer devices in their road blocks to monitor drunk drivers for the first time.
