The television coverage of next month's South Pacific Games in Samoa will be of a communal nature.
The broadcaster's executive producer, Michael Williams, says six hours live coverage will be beamed to the pacific daily with also a hours highlight package.
Mr Williams says recognising there's limited financial resources for island nations to buy coverage the broadcaster has taken another approach
He says rather than a financial arrangement, countries will send cameras and crews to add to the coverage and will receive broadcast rights in return.
