The American Samoa Power Authority board of directors has not made a decision regarding a letter of resignation handed to them last week from the authority's new chief financial officer Francis Leasiolagi.
Leasiolagi, a former government Treasurer and deputy treasurer, was unanimously selected for the post earlier this year and began a two year contact in February
His reasons for resigning after only four months as CFO are unknown
Board chairman Fepuleai Afa Ripley says the board hopes to resolve the matter by next week
