Oceania Football could benefit from FIFA's billion dollar annual income

The President of the Oceania Football Confederation, Reynard Tamarii, says they're hoping to secure some of FIFA's billion dollar income for development of soccer in the Oceania region..

He says FIFA's annual income is over one billion US dollars, and 32 percent of that is for development projects.

Tamarii says Oceania which is one of the six continents under FIFA could benefit financially.

"If we are able to present serious projects, I expect from 2006 to 2011 we could get from FIFA 105 million US dollars we could get from FIFA for the whole region."
