Latest statistics from Samoa's Ministry of Finance show a steady rise in the number of visitors to the country.

On international flights from overseas, other than between Apia and Pago Pago, 3,624 visitors flew in on Air New Zealand in April while 3,142 arrived on the country's national carrier, PolyBlue

The Samoan government and Australia's Pacific Blue each hold a 49 percent share in Polyblue with the remaining two per cent being held by Aggie Grey's hotel.
