Vanuatu's Public Service Commission gets new secretary-general

There is a new secretary-general of Vanuatu's Public Service Commission.

Mark Bebe from Penama province has been transferred from his position as Director of the Department of Strategic Management to take up the PSC role.

According to the Daily Post, Mr Bebe replaces George Pakoasongi.

Senior public servants are welcoming Mr Bebe's appointment and say that the Public Service Commission needs someone with his background in public administration.

Mr. Bebe has experience in banking and business accounting, and worked in the former Vanuatu Development Bank, the ANZ and the National Bank of Vanuatu.
