Pacific Waves for 29 November 2024

In Pacific Waves today: Papua New Guinea HIV infections hit a record high; World leaders meet to draft new plastic pollution treaty; Cook Islands men prioritise mental wellbeing; Fiji prepares to host Oceania Pacific Cup hockey tournament.
At one point, HIV infections was the leading cause of hospitalisations but many victims had to fare for themselves in rural areas where they were often ostracised by families and the community.
