The Tākaka Hill road will close overnight next week for repair work.

State Highway 60 from Riuwaka to Upper Tākaka will be closed from 9pm to 5am from 22 November to 26 November for pavement works.
Waka Kotahai has asked motorists to plan their travel outside these hours as no detour is available.
Tākaka Hill was extensively damaged by ex-tropical Cyclone Gita in February 2018 and still has single-lane access in parts.
The NZ Transport Agency team fixing the storm-damaged Takaka Hill road will be giving a public briefing at Takaka Village Market on Saturday.
The highway over the Takaka Hill will not be fully repaired until 2020, New Zealand Transport Agency says.
The road over the Takaka Hill is open again, but the road to recovery remains a long and windy one for some businesses.
