1:17 Paula Bennett steps down
National MP and former deputy leader Paula Bennett will not stand in the upcoming election, ending a political career that began in 2005.
She was rolled as the deputy leader last month and demoted to number 13 on the party's list, after the rise of Todd Muller and Nikki Kaye.
We speak to Ben Thomas, public relations consultant and former National government press secretary.
1.27 Students unsure about online learning
Universities across the country are introducing more online learning, and it's creating confusion and apprehension among some students and lecturers.
The most controversial decision has been by Waikato University, which has announced that all courses will be held entirely online next trimester.
We speak to Isabella Lenihan-Ikin, the President of the New Zealand Union of Students associations.
1.34 TVNZ launches new kids game show
The first season of TVNZ's series Brain Busters, a game show for children, starts today.
The first episode is at 4:10pm today on TVNZ 2.
600 kids from all over New Zealand will compete in the show, which has been compared to popular series The Chase.
