The project has received funding from the United Nations trust fund for human security and will target Fiji, Kiribati, Tuvalu, the Marshall Islands and Vanuatu.

It aims to support a regional human security-based response to climate change and disaster related migration, displacement and planned relocation.

The project calls for regional cooperation and coordination to address gaps in current policy and responses to climate change and associated human migration.
