Football fans travelling to North Harbour Stadium to watch the FIFA Under 20 World Cup finals this afternoon are being urged to leave early and take public transport to avoid traffic jams.
Auckland Transport said some parking was available around the stadium but public transport was free for ticket holders.
More than 25,000 people will be going to North Harbour to watch the play-off for third place between Senegal and Mali at 1.30pm before the final between Brazil and Serbia at 5pm.
Special event buses will run from the city centre, Takapuna, and Henderson to get fans to and from the stadium in time for both matches.
After each match all event buses will leave from directly outside the stadium.
People catching trains to Britomart, to connect with buses to the stadium, can travel for free with their match ticket from three hours before kick-off until the last train service of the night.
Aucklanders who don't have tickets can watch the matches on a big screen at Queens Wharf.
