A man has died in a three-car crash in Hamilton, bringing the holiday road toll to 13 - nearly double last year's total.
Police said he was a passenger in a car that collided with two others at the Dinsdale roundabout in Hamilton, shortly after 2pm this afternoon.
Four other people have been taken to Waikato Hospital with serious to minor injuries.
Diversions are in place around the crash scene.
Last year, seven people died in road crashes over the summer holiday period, while six were killed over the holiday period in 2012.
