Chief executive Craig Richardson said the company has taken a cautious approach to its US market expansion and this latest deal is part of a broader plan.

The latest deal will provide Wynyard's software to 700 credit unions in the US.

Mr Richardson said there is a high level of US interest in Wynyard's capabilities in foreign fighters and organised crime.
