Kids and paint

Leonardo Da Vinci did it. And now so do a bunch of kids from Thames. They've been learning the traditional art of paint making, using natural clays, water and oils. Artist Barry Thomas has just held a weeklong paint making work shop at the old School of Mines building in Thames. Barry's a long time film maker too, but he got sick of the digital world, and decided he needed to get his hands dirty. A workshop is perfect says Barry. He spends days getting mucky alongside the children who get to take home newly finished paintings and their new skills.
