Simon Morris looks at an unusually diverse collection of school holiday attractions, but decides to look at three films aimed at more adult audiences.

White riot is a documentary set in Britain’s “winter of discontent” in the late 70s – the era of punk, the rise of the National Front, and the Rock against Racism movement. 

Greed stars Steve Coogan as a fashion multi-millionaire, throwing himself a wildly expensive birthday party at his tax-haven Mediterranean mansion.  Co-stars Isla Fisher, David Mitchell and a lion called Clarence.  Directed by Michael Winterbottom (The trip to Greece). 

And The Burnt Orange Heresy finds a corrupt art critic trying to get an interview with a famously reclusive painter.  Stars Claes Bang (The square), Elizabeth Debicki (Widows) and Mick Jagger.
