Simon Morris tries to get past the expectations generated by three, apparently predictable movies this week.

LBJ is another biopic set during the Kennedy era.  But there’s more to Jack Kennedy’s Vice President – Lyndon Baines Johnson – than meets the eye.  Directed by Rob Reiner and starring Woody Harrelson.

The documentary Midnight Oil 1984 is the result of the discovery of hours of live footage of the band on a tour interrupted when singer Peter Garrett runs for political office.

And The spy who dumped me is pretty much what it says on the wrapper.  Can stars Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon add a feminist slant to a tired old formula?
