1:15 Eva Hakansson - the fastest woman on two wheels
Eva Hakansson is an Auckland-based engineer and lecturer who last year became the world's fastest female motorcycle rider, hitting a top speed of 434 kilometres per hour.
And she hit that top speed in the electric motorcycle she built herself, Killajoule - a five-metre long motorcycle designed to show, in Eva's words, that eco-friendly can be fast and sexy.
She's with us in our Auckland studio.
1:25 Mindfulness for kids
Mindfulness is a therepeutic technique which involves focussing on the moment, while acknowledging and being aware of your own personal emotions.
Its proponents say it helps with anxiety, stress and depression - and the artist and author Jen Sievers wants children to benefit from it as well
She's written a new book on mindfulness for preschoolers - Just Breathe: a mindfulness adventure and joins us to explain a bit more
1:35 World Acupuncture Day
Whether you subscribe to it or not as a form of medicine, acupuncture has definitely captured a lot of people's imaginations.

2:20 Your Money with Mary Holm - Reverse Mortgages
Mary discusses reverse mortgages, which can be a good way for retired people to make use of the huge amounts of money they have tied up in their homes. With a reverse mortgage, you make no repayments until you leave your home or die.
The one big negative is that the loan will grow at a compounding rate. So if you have the loan for, say, 20 years, it could grow to 6 times the amount you borrowed or more. After 30 years it might be 15 times what you borrowed. On the other hand, the value of your house will have risen hugely over that long a period.
If you’re interested in getting a reverse mortgage, there are several aspects you should check up on. Mary spells them out. You should also consider whether to tell your family about the fact that their inheritance won’t be as big as they expect. In some cases, it may be better to remain silent!
Mary concludes that reverse mortgages can work well if you borrow later in retirement, rather than in your sixties.
