The New Zealand motor racing driver Scott Dixon had a day to forget in the opening round of the new IndyCar season in Florida.
Dixon finished 15th in the Grand Prix of St Petersburg after starting 9th on the grid.
He had a bad pit early in the race and dropped to 20th.
He did manage to claw back a few places, but did report problems with his brakes and steering.
The Australian Will Power started the defence of series championship with a second placed finish in St Petersburg, behind the Colombian Juan Pablo Montoya..
The next round is in Louisiana in a fortnight.
