The Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic will play the Queensland Firebirds in the preliminary final of the ANZ netball championship after the Firebirds were beaten 52-47 by the Melbourne Vixens on Monday night.
The Vixens go straight to the grand final while the Magic and Firebirds meet next Monday in Brisbane to find the other grand finalist.
