Reports in Britain say Black Caps skipper Brendan McCullum has told ICC anti-corruption investigators that a player offered him up to $200,000 to underperform.

Last week it was reported that former New Zealand international Lou Vincent told investigators that he was involved in matches that were being fixed.

The Daily Mail now says McCullum has revealed that he had been approached to fix matches.

The Mail understands that the player is the same one who asked Vincent to fix matches.

The publication quotes McCullum as saying his 'hero' tried to bribe him in a Worcester cafe during New Zealand's tour in 2008.

He was told that all the big boys in international cricket were doing it and also how he could hide the money trail.
